We spend a lot of time in Los Angeles so we know the places to go . We made a list of some of our favorite restaurants that are also dog friendly and delicious!
Alfred Coffee/Tea Room
Our hooman family are big fans of the coffee. They drink it everyday! One of their favorite places to go is Alfred and they often take us with them on the adventure. We go to the one in Brentwood because it is closest to our house and there are always tons of dogs there! They have a nice outdoor seating area where the hoomans can relax, while we can socialize with new furiends.
P.S. Mom highly recommends the almond milk latte and the matcha latte with oat milk. She likes them almost as much as we love treats!
We go to the True Food in Santa Monica and they have a large patio that welcomes pets! There are True Food Restaurants all over and they all allow pets. The staff always offer us water bowls.
This restaurant has a big menu and gives the hoomans a healthy option! Mom highly recommends the edamame dumplings!
We absolutely love this spot! They allow dogs and you get to eat right on the ocean! The food is amazing! Our hoomans haven’t gotten a thing they don’t like. Plus, the staff always loves up on us and serve us our water before the hoomans! This place is also a great spot for photos!
Urth Caffé is a great restaurant! They have several locations throughout Los Angeles: West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Downtown LA, and Pasadena. This is a great brunch, lunch, and dessert spot! Urth is always pretty crowded which is how you know it’s good, but there’s always a place to sit. The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming and your pet will no doubt have lots of people stopping to pet them! They offer a plethora of outdoor seating where we dogs like to chill. Our hoomans like pretty much everything there and so do we from what we’ve gotten to taste !
Ashland Hill
Ashland Hill is very accepting of us canines! They even host events for pets called Yappy Hour. Their patio is super comfy and they had a blanket and water bowl ready on arrival! This place even has a special menu for pets! Now that’s what we call good people! Their pet menu features beef patty over rice, chicken and rice, and even ice-cream!! Can you believe it? We sure couldn’t until we tried it!
Address: 2807 Main St, Santa Monica
Alcove
This place in Los Feliz has a nice and cozy patio to have a nice morning or afternoon with your pet! This is a great spot for lunch or brunch. The staff often brings treats for your dogs!
Address: 1929 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Blue Dog Beer Tavern
Even the name of this restaurant is dog friendly. The tavern serves hamburger patties for dogs and delicious burgers for hoomans. It is also decorated well! There’s pups all over the walls!
Location: 4524 Saugus Ave, Sherman Oaks, CA
The Sycamore Kitchen
This place has a huge patio space that is dog friendly! Lots of fellow dog lovers bring their pets as well so it’s been a great spot for us to make furiends. The hoomans think it is very tasty. They love the pastries and brunch at this place.
Location: 143 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA
The Morrison
This place loves dogs! They even have a pet menu just for us! The hoomans just have to pay $6 bucks for us to feast! And I mean feast! They offer chicken and rice, hot dogs and rice, and hamburger and rice.
Location: 3179 Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
The Fat Dog
This restaurant is a dog themed gastropub! It has a spacious patio that’s great for pets! It is also conveniently located next to a pet store called Tailwaggers. Moreover, the owners have two dogs of their own!
Location: 11050 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA
Dogtown Coffee
This name tips customers off to its pet friendly atmosphere. This casual place is good for coffee, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and açaí bowls. It’s located in Santa Monica just a few blocks from the beach so it’s great area to take your furry pals on a walk!
Location: 2003 Main St, Santa Monica, CA

i have always liked Aussies. as a kid, the place I rode horses had a great herder (the horses respected him), and I had a wonderful aussie mix for 15 years. Great post about dog-friendly places !

It is so hard to find pet-friendly business and even vacation spots. Thank you for taking the time to compile this list for us and our beloved pets. Wonderful post!

This is great.so many dog friendly eating places. I live north of Toronto and we do not have any dog friendly eating places . There was one in a town nearby but they received notice that they had to stop having dogs or they would be closed down. There is some law in Ontario against having dogs in places where food is served. In the winter we are in Florida and there we can find places that allow dogs on the patios with no problems.
