Therapy Dogs of Cedars-Sinai

Did you know pets have a positive impact on overall health? There’s now conclusive evidence that proves this. According to the Human Animal Bond Research Institute pets can help decrease blood pressure, anxiety, fear, pain, and social isolation, while simultaneously increasing a sense of purpose.

Our hoomans believe that their mental and overall health has improved because of us, which makes them part of the 74% of pet owners that believe the same thing about their pets (The Human Animal Bond Research Institute).

There is a strong awareness of the health advantages that pets have on people, which is evident in the therapy dogs at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. We mainly wanted to write this post to show our appreciation for the amazing therapy dogs and their owners that help patients at Cedars-Sinai. Us dogs love unconditionally and we judge no one which is why we make good therapy animals. These dogs especially have generous spirits and prove this by offering healing, warmth, and compassion to the patients of Cedars-Sinai. Grace Chon, a self taught photographer, had the opportunity to take all of these pets photographs and we wanted to share them with you:
