Still looking for the perfect gift to include your pup in the holiday fun this year? Don’t worry, I have you covered. The following are some of my all-time favorite gifts for dogs and their parents!
- Dog Stocking – it doesn’t get much better than a stocking stuffed with your dogs favorite treats! My pups have bone shaped stockings from Burlap Season!
- Knit Sweaters – nothing says December quite like a sweater for your pup! We recently acquired some sweaters from Alqo Wasi, a Peruvian company that focuses on making sophisticated and unique clothing for pets.
- Bully Sticks – I don’t know a pup that’ll turn their nose up to a bully stick! My pups love bully sticks and you can use these as a stocking stuffer for your pup! I bought my pups bully sticks shaped like candy canes. You can find them here!
- Pet Hair Remover – I don’t know about you but I struggle with the “accessories” my dogs like to put on my clothes, especially since I’m a big fan of wearing black and leggings, which seem to especially attract the dog hair. I use a brush from Lilly Brush to get rid of unwanted pet hair!
- Breath Freshening Treats – get your pup mistletoe ready with some treats that’ll freshen their breath! My dogs eat a Greenie a day and it definitely helps when they’re breathing in my face! You can even get into the holiday spirit by purchasing a candy cane shaped container filled with Greenies!
- Lead – you can never go wrong with a new lead! All dogs need them for their walks. I picked my favorite red polka dot lead from Noggins and Binkles to help your pets’ look stylish for the holidays.
- Custom Dog Treats – every dog loves treats and I love taking pictures of food. If you are like me then you should look into holiday treats at your local dog bakery! I discovered Pawsome Dog Treats and their treats are just too adorable!
- Rope Christmas Dog Toy – I’m one of those people that has to get Christmas themed toys for my pups! It makes me just as happy as it does them. I especially love rope dog toys because it takes my pups a lot longer to destroy them. The Gingerbread Rope Dog Toy from Jax & Bone makes everyone happy.
- Festive Dog Bandana – I love making bandanas from my pups. I love it so much that I started my own dog company – Everything Doggo! You can make your own or find a shop on Etsy and find the perfect bandana for your pet!
Matching Family Pajamas – One of my favorite Christmas traditions is everyone wearing their cute pajamas on Christmas morning when we unwrap presents. This year I decided I wanted matching pajamas with the pups. I found adorable sets at both Target and Hanna Anderson! If you want to match us we will be wearing the Oh Deer Set from Hanna Anderson:
- Pet Bed – what dog doesn’t need a cozy place to sleep? I love when my dogs have beds that also make me happy and are aesthetically pleasing. The Velvet Snuggle Dog Bed from Nice Digs is definitely on my wish list! This bed is available in multiple different colors and has a hood, which is perfect for pets that love to borough (I have one of those and it’s Porky)!
- Plush Holiday Dog Toy – some things are just too cute not to get and Zippy Paws never disappoints!
- Toy Bin – this is the perfect way to keep pet owners organized! The one below is from Orvis!
- CBD Treats/Oil – if your pet has anxiety or certain health problems, then consider getting them a CBD product this Christmas! Check out these festive Merry Munchies from Dope Dog:
- Dog Calendar – December is ending and what better way to prepare for the new year than with a new calendar? I personally love to make my own with my pups on Shutterfly or Vistaprint! You can also make a customized mug with your dog’s photo on either of these sites.
